In Ryan’s chair you will feel heard, inspired, and educated on how to maintain your hair long after you leave the salon. He may be the “boss” but his humble and humorous approach will make you feel right at home at VP.

A Michigan native, Nichole has been a hair stylist and colorist in the Detroit area since 2006. Bringing her vast knowledge and experience, she specializes in “lived in hair color” and effortless hair cuts. Nichole has a relaxed style and straight forward consultation approach that will make you feel invested in from start to finish. Her commitment to listening to her clients and working with them to achieve their “dream hair” is paramount only to her love of bath bombs.
Emily Henderson
Emily began her journey in our industry starting in 2019 at the aveda institute, specializing in all things color, including blonding, balayage, corrections and transformations. She believes in customizing every style and color to each individual client that sits in her chair. One of her favorite parts of this industry is connecting with her clients and forming not only a professional but, also a personal connection. In her free time she enjoys painting, poetry and anything that sparks her creative side.
Amanda Guitian
New to Detroit from Los Angeles, Amanda is bringing her signature West Coast blonding style to the city. Specializing in the art of balayage, Amanda loves to create natural looking, sun-kissed hair.
Brelyn Richardson
Brelyn recently graduated from Douglas J in the spring of 2021, and we are thrilled to have her on the VP team! She is certainly destined for great things in our industry, and is currently accepting new clients for Blowouts, Silk Press, Braiding, and Twist Outs.

Growing up with a mom and sister who are also in the industry, Patrick was exposed to hair dressing at an early age. With 5 years of experience under his belt, Patrick has developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with blondes and dimensional brunettes. What truly sets him apart is his ability to forge personal connections with his clients. His warm demeanor and attentive approach has clients leaving the chair looking fabulous and feeling valued and understood.

Esther Soto
Her childhood passion turned into her life’s work. Esther’s career as a professional makeup artist begin in 2004 working for MAC Cosmetics in Denver. She would later relocate to Chicago and then Michigan. It was during her time there that she gained exceptional training, retail business development and hands on experience. With her passion for continued education, product knowledge, beauty trends and references of the past. Her career continued on in the beauty world as an Esthetician in the salon industry. Esther specializes in creating natural beauty looks. Her styled looks reflects your personal style and lifestyle. Her professional, pleasant approach will be seen and felt in her perfected work.
